India's Low Cost Tablet Akash 2 Launched: Specs

India's Low cost Tablet PC Akash 2 launched by Datawind in association with HRD Ministry of india. It is the latest version of Akash Tablet.The Akash 2 is available for indian students at a subsidised price of  Rs 1,130 (around $40).Actually Datawind delivering Akash2 to the HRD Ministry of india at Rs 2,263.
The commercial version of Akash 2 is Ubi Slate 7Ci.This is available for purchase in Datawind Website at Rs 4,499.

Akash 2 Presented to the U N ambassadors: 
Sunseet Singh Tuli, CEO of Datawind presented Ki-moon with an Aakash2 tablet for each of the U.N. ambassadors on November 28 at U N Headquarters.On that time many of the countries like Thailand, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Bolivia, Honduras, Nicaragua, Brazil and Panama have all expressed interest in bringing the low-cost tablet to their students.
